We’re pleased to announce an exciting new look for our packaging, signalling a new era for Big Drop.
Don’t worry – the beers taste just like they ought to (you know: real beer, flavourful, award-winning) they just come inside a bigger and bolder design.
The new packaging has taken its inspiration from the beer itself: the flavour, colour and aroma of each different style. Each of the designs is based on an environment that is linked to the individual beers’ style, and which inspired the names, illustrations and colourways.
So, let us introduce you to this stellar line-up; Uptown Craft Lager, Paradiso Citra IPA, Pine Trail Pale Ale and Galactic Milk Stout.
Uptown – Craft Lager
Inspired by hot summers in the city, meeting friends after work and chasing the last rays of the day. The pattern comes from a section of concrete from the famous Barbican Estate in London. In contrast, the pattern feels light, refreshing and effervescent, just like a beer on a summer’s evening should be.
Easy drinking, full-flavoured but elegant. Light herbal and floral hop aromas, a hint of caramel with peppered spiciness on the palate and a touch of orange on the end. Store and enjoy chilled.

Paradiso – Citra IPA
Paradiso Citra IPA reflects a journey through paradise, deep into the jungle, pushing past giant green leaves. Exotic sights, sounds and flavours. The illustration represents a tropical paradise and the drop becomes the citrus twist.
This IPA radiates citrus fruit from the moment you pour it to the second you finish that last sip with a satisfied sigh. The bright, sharp twist of bitterness on the end makes you want to dive back in for one more. Store and enjoy chilled.

Pine Trail – Pale Ale
Just like a walk through a pine forest on a cool day. The clean air is laced with the unmistakable pine aroma. The illustration is based on a vertical rhythm of the trees in the forest, the pointed needled and the crisp citrus bite.
A delight for the senses, this beer delivers on all levels. Rosy floral aromas are immediate as you pour, with a light and limey citrus bite on the palate and balanced but obvious bitterness to finish. Store and enjoy chilled.

Galactic ‑ Milk Stout
The creamy swirl of a freshly poured stout inspired this one. Black holes, faraway galaxies and journeying in to the unknown – the illustration is based on satellite imagery from deep space, rich with colour, depth and movement.
Forget the notion this is a beer style that has had its day. Instead think of it as honeycomb covered in chocolate, because that’s exactly what it tastes like: rich, unctuous and an absolutely decadent treat of a beer. Store and enjoy chilled.

The new designs are unapologetic, instantly recognisable and resonate with our LIVE BIG mantra. It’s a bold new direction for the brand, kicking off a special year for Big Drop.
